It is estimated that taking part in the Race Across America costs around $20,000. I have accumulated many of the bike related supplies I will need and I am saving money to help cover part of the cost of competing. Some of the major costs include the rental of vehicles, food and lodging for racer and crew, and gas. I am seeking ways to help defray the costs and there are a number of ways in which businesses and individuals can help.
I am printing t-shirts to sell and I am seeking sponsors. By contributing some funds, a minimum of $50 is suggested (although any and all contributions are welcome), in exchange for having your business logo and/or name printed on the t-shirts and your logo and/or name highlighted on my web site. The larger the donation, the bigger the logo and name! You can send me a check (please email me Paul Carpenter for the address) or use the PayPal link below.
If you cannot be a sponsor, I hope you will purchase a t-shirt or two. These will be on sale toward the end of March and if past years are anything to go by, will sell out soon.
